Robert A. Morris is a Managing Director of Morris Anderson & Associates, Ltd., America’s most experienced turnaround consulting firm, operating out of its Chicago and Cleveland offices.
Mr. Morris is a prominent author and lecturer and one of a very small number of professionals holding triple certification as a CTP (Certified Turnaround Professional), CIRA (Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor) and CDBV (Certification in Distressed Business Valuation). He has been deeply involved as both an owner of, and advisor to, many companies in distress during the past 25+ years.

Mr. Morris has extensive expertise in turnaround consulting, systems development, business appraisal and acquisition strategy, with decades of experience in analytic, financial and line operating management. He has been involved in the rehabilitation of under performing companies, financial restructuring, refinancing, mergers and acquisitions, expert witness in litigation matters, liquidation and litigation trustee, financial analysis, and in both out-of-court and in-Chapter plans of reorganization.

Prior to this, Mr. Morris pursued a career in the corporate world up through the CEO level. He is a Contributing Editor and Founder of the Financial Advisors Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute and Co-Chair of the 2007 AIRA Annual Conference. In TMA, he is a Board Member of the Chicago Chapter, Co-Chair of the 2007 MidAmerica Regional Conference and also active at the international level of the Turnaround Management Association, serving as a Committee Chair for Long Range Planning and Co-Chair of its 2005 TMA Annual Conference.

Mr. Morris received both undergraduate and graduate degrees from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, which included studies at the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
