Ken Yager has nearly 2 decades of executive leadership experience in general management and capital-raising. In that time, he has tackled P&L responsibility for cash-constrained companies in growth, leveraged-buyout and turnaround situations. He has also successfully worked on dozens of implementations of planning, operations and project management; and team building, B2B marketing, sales and joint-venture management.

While operating under the Morris-Anderson & Associates banner, Ken has acted as Interim COO of a $25 million building products distributor, turning the company around—with 7 days of cash on-hand—and selling it 18 months later. He also has served on the Board of a $23 million independent bottler, developed the divestiture plan for a $26 million division of a $500 million cold-rolled steel processor, and managed negotiations with 1,200 vendors for a $200 million outdoor-equipment company.

Prior to joining Morris-Anderson, Ken headed Newpoint Ventures, which worked to revitalize middle-market companies through new management and introduction of low-cost employee leveraging tools. In this capacity, Ken raised various debt and equity structures for growth and troubled companies, built business models and operational plans/proposals for growth companies, revised ISO activities, and developed forecasting and other sales metrics that helped clients manage activities and improvements.

Other experience under Ken’s belt includes work as Vice President, Equity Sponsor Business Development at Bank of America; Senior Associate at Coopers & Lybrand, where he received his CPA; and Financial Analyst in the Capital Markets Division of Salomon Brothers.

Ken earned his Bachelor’s degree in Management with majors in Finance and Accounting from Tulane University, A.B. Freeman School of Business; and a Master of Management degree from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He is a former President, Kellogg Alumni Club.

Ken is a member of the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the TMA.
