Jim Ross is a results-oriented turnaround professional with an extensive background in C-level management engagements. In the last 10 years, Mr. Ross has focused on interim management assignments, working with clients to successfully design and implement operational restructuring programs, secure new financing and direct sale transactions, and guiding companies through bankruptcy reorganization and liquidations. His strong organizational and team-building skills have proved to be effective in developing successful management teams on each of his assignments.

Mr. Ross’s turnaround experience covers a variety of industries, with heavy emphasis on manufacturers of food items, consumer products, automotive parts, injection molding and metals fabrication. He also has experience in the wholesale distribution, retail, services and import sectors. His skills include expertise in operations management, sales management, finance and accounting, information technology and product sourcing.

Prior to joining MorrisAnderson, Mr. Ross had a 25-year consulting career, which included serving as partner in charge of consulting groups at Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser and BDO Seidman. He worked in a variety of industries, including food processing, electronics, metal fabrication, plastics, electronics, home furnishings, financial services, not-for-profit and retail. His assignments included computer system selections and implementation, operations improvement, executive search, organizational development and process improvement.

Mr. Ross holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Illinois and a CPA certificate from the State of Illinois.
