Daniel
M. Morris specializes
in turnarounds, crisis management, corporate reorganizations
and financial transactions. With more than 30 years
of comprehensive corporate management and consulting
experience, he assists clients in manufacturing, processing,
banking, distribution, wholesaling, transportation,
retailing and professional services. He has extensive
experience in creditor relations and bankruptcy matters.
Prior to forming Morris·Anderson
in 1980, Mr. Morris served as a financial and legal
officer for CFS Continental, Inc. a multi-national,
billion-dollar institutional food manufacturer and distributor. He
joined CFS Continental in 1970 after serving as a commercial
Banking Officer with Harris Trust and Savings Bank.
While at CFS Continental, Mr. Morris
activities included participation in debt and equity
placements in excess of $100 million, participating
in 40 acquisitions and divestitures valued at more than
$300 million, supervision of real estate transactions
valued at $500 million and supervision of the treasury,
law and risk management functions with a combined operating
budget of $7.6 million.
Mr. Morris, who was awarded the honorary designation of Certified Turnaround Professional in 2005, earned his Bachelor's degree in accounting from Miami University and a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University School of Law. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1966.
