David
Anderson has specialized
in business turnarounds, crisis management and operations
since 1982, with emphasis on development and implementation
of business plans, profit improvement, financial analysis,
cost reduction and interim management.
Before joining the firm in 1982, Mr. Anderson
served as Senior Vice President and CFO of a manufacturer
and distributor of medical imaging systems. While there,
he was instrumental in guiding the company back to profitability,
which involved three refinancings.
During the 1970s, Mr. Anderson was
Corporate Controller of a multi-national billion-dollar
institutioned food manufacturer and distributor. During
his tenure at CFS Continental, the company grew from
$100 million in sales to more than a billion, largely
through 40 acquisitions, which he participated heavily
in. As Controller, he was responsible for financial
statements, SEC reporting, tax and internal audit.
He began his career with Price Waterhouse,
where he spent 8 years working with a variety of clients
in numerous industries. He left as an audit manager.
Mr. Anderson has worked extensively in
the areas of financial reporting, controls and profit-planning
techniques. A CPA, he is a graduate of the University
of Illinois School of Business and holds an M.B.A. from
the University of Chicago. Mr. Anderson is a member
of the Turnaround Management Association and is a Certified
Turnaround Professional (CTP).
