Bernadette M. Barron is a hands-on professional with turnaround, interim management, operational, legal, tax and financial expertise. She has more than 25 years of senior managerial experience with assignments in over 30 industries. The breadth of her experience is in middle-market companies with revenues ranging from under $5 million to more than $200 million. In addition to successfully guiding companies through a financial turnaround, she has taken companies through bankruptcy, liquidated corporate assets, negotiated equity and debt structures, and has been actively involved in the acquisition and divestiture of corporate assets and companies.

Prior to joining Morris-Anderson & Associates, Ms. Barron owned a business consulting firm that provided clients with turnaround, interim management, operational, accounting, legal and tax advice, and strategy implementation. Additionally, over the past 15 years, Ms. Barron has served as a consultant for several nationally known turnaround firms.

Ms. Barron’s career has included employment at several banks, Hertz Rent A Car, several real estate investment and syndication firms, and a national investment company with holdings in hotels, real estate, manufacturing, banking, farming and ranching.

The Certified Turnaround Professional's educational credentials include a LLM (Masters in Law) from New York University, JD from John Marshall Law School, MBA from DePaul University and a Bachelor's in Accounting from Wayne State University. She also is an Illinois CPA and licensed Illinois attorney.

Ms. Barron is active on several boards and committees, including several not-for-profits. She is actively involved with the Turnaround Management Association, International Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
