Alan Brumbaugh is a specialist in providing strategy, marketing, and investment banking, and related management consulting with an emphasis on companies experiencing accelerated transformation and change. He is the developer of many effective tools and approaches for improving client enterprise value. Mr. Brumbaugh has over 24 years of consulting experience for clients ranging from venture start-ups to Fortune 500 Companies. He has been involved in the successful completion of over 300 engagements in a broad range of consumer, industrial and service sectors.

Since joining MorrisAnderson & Associates in 1989, Alan has participated in turnarounds, insolvencies, re-capitalizations, and business sales for clients in a wide range of industries and companies of all sizes. He has also provided interim executive management in the areas of VP of Marketing, CFO, as well as having been interim CEO for four companies.

Before joining MorrisAnderson, he provided strategic consulting services to a broad range of clients including BF Goodrich, AT&T, Georgia Power, Tandem Computer, Nortel, and Allen Bradley. Many of these engagements focused on portfolio changes through growth or acquisition of new capabilities or divestiture of less meaningful business units.

Prior to becoming a consulting professional, Mr. Brumbaugh was engaged in providing advertising services. Initially, he was employed by Arthur E. Wilk Advertising as Vice President, Director of Client Services. Later he founded Goldberg & Brumbaugh, Inc., a marketing communications firm with a staff of 26 professionals. His clients included major corporations such as Colgate-Palmolive, G.D. Searle, American Hospital, Ralston Purina, Mallinkcrodt, Douwe-Egberts N.V. and Owens-Illinois.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Brumbaugh was employed by Abbott Laboratories with positions in R&D, Sales and Marketing. He also served in the U.S.Navy aboard the U.S.S.America CVA-66.

Mr. Brumbaugh's affiliations have included the Turnaround Management Association, Society for Competitor Intelligence Professionals, and the American Management Association. He is listed in Who's Who in International Business. He has been a guest lecturer/instructor at Washington University, Northwestern University, Turnaround Management Association events, and The National Communications Forum among others.
