Carl Zehnder
is a turnaround and crisis management specialist with more than 35 years of operations and process management experience. Throughout his career, he has held numerous operating and executive management positions.
Carl has designed and constructed cost-based estimating systems that supported the rapid growth of a billion-dollar manufacturer of custom products, developed innovative cost saving scheduling processes for a major automotive manufacturer, and engineered and built a warehouse management system that is currently used to manage one million SKU’s nationally. As CIO of a division of a billion-dollar insurance broker, he directed the development of business systems that moved the division from lowest in profitability to highest within five years.
Carl has worked with middle-market companies and divisions of Fortune 100 companies in many industries, including automotive, job shop manufacturing, appliances, printing, insurance, banking and health care. Throughout his career, he has worked with more than 50 companies, providing consulting, day-to-day management and advisory services. Clients include General Motors, White Motor Corporation, TRW, Wallace Computer Services, Moore Business Forms, AON and many mid-sized firms.
Carl was awarded his MBA from the University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Administration and Organizational Behavior from George Williams College. He also holds a BME in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Cleveland State University.
