Dick Schluter has been a turnaround and crisis-management specialist since 1987, managing more than 50 assignments. He has assessed the viability of businesses, managed cash flow, developed recovery plans, performed due diligence reviews, and served in an interim-management capacity to stabilize troubled businesses. He has implemented include cost reduction programs, profit enhancements, plant closures, product consolidation, asset liquidation, vendor programs and the refinancing or sale of businesses. He has also served as court appointed debtor-in-possession in bankruptcy cases.

Mr. Schluter’s service has included work for many companies within the manufacturing sector, as well as the transportation, telecommunications, retail operations, construction and service industries.

He began his career with a Fortune 500 company as an auditor and long-range financial planner, then served in the Chicago office of PricwaterhouseCoopers, LLP and thereafter as Controller or CFO for several private, middle-market companies.

The CPA earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Augustana College. He is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society.
