Paulina Fin Caprio is a seasoned finance professional with experience in business development; turnaround and change management; strategy and analysis; valuation; operational streamlining and optimization; and leadership and management.

Before joining MorrisAnderson as a consultant in the Chicago office, Paulina was most recently a portfolio manager at Spot Trading LLC in Chicago where she launched the company's first long-short equity portfolio. After joining in 2004 as the company's first equity analyst, Paulina was promoted to Director of Equity Research where she expanded, lead and managed the equity team to become a profitable business unit.

During 2000 through 2003, Paulina was a risk arbitrage and, subsequently, a distressed debt analyst with Gabriel Capital LLC in New York City. She analyzed mergers, acquisitions and restructurings in North America and Europe. During her time as a risk arbitrage analyst, she increased returns by more than 15 percent. As a distressed analyst, Paulina analyzed capital structure, financial position, operations, and industry drivers and made buy/sell recommendations.

From 1999 until 2000, Paulina worked as a senior analyst with Banc of America Securities, where she assisted in the ramp-up of the bank's new healthcare corporate finance team by taking on associate-level responsibilities in mergers and acquisitions transactions, equity financings, IPOs and business development. Previously, Paulina worked as an investment banking analyst at UBS covering oil and gas companies and international mining companies.

Paulina has an honors Bachelor's degree in neuropsychology from the University of Toronto. She received the Chartered Financial Analyst Designation from the CFA Institute in 2002. Paulina is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, IWIRC, American Bankruptcy Institute, CFA Society of Chicago, Chicago Financial Women and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.
