David Paddy has an extensive background in Chapter 11 restructuring and Chapter 7 liquidations, along with experience in restructurings outside the bankruptcy arena. He specializes in cash management, financial analysis, preference analysis and claims administration.

Prior to joining Morris-Anderson & Associates, Mr. Paddy spent 12 years in managerial accounting, which included four years as Controller for a tobacco and candy distributor. He has been consulting since 2001, and his assignments have included advising a Bank Group in the liquidation of a grocery distributor; claims administration in an aerospace bankruptcy; Chapter 11 work with companies in the chemical, distribution and manufacturing industries; and Chapter 7 work with companies in healthcare, publishing, retail and telecommunications. Some of his most noteworthy assignments include:

  • Miller & Hartman – retained by Bank Group to monitor operations and liquidation of company, which included monitoring of cash management, inventory, accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Network Plus – retained by the Chapter 7 Trustee and did considerable work on preference analysis, collection and mediation
  • Net 2000 Communications – retained by Chapter 7 Trustee and handled preferences and claims
  • Tecstar Inc – claims administration

Mr. Paddy received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Baltimore, and has done graduate work in finance at Loyola College in Maryland.
